CRYSTAL AXIS, HER NAME IS ALEXIS

This is Alexis. She is absolutely gorgeous in real life, but in photos...well, she's a natch model, obvs! The weather on the day of the shoot was terrible so we decided to shoot indoors at a mutual friend's. Our photographer's house flooded earlier in the day, shaving our shoot time down by an hour and a half. We had a lot of work to do , so I purchased a couple bottles of bubbly and we went to work.
Brook Lane was the photographer on this shoot, and is my go-to when I need some pics without a lot of hassle. The genius of using Alexis as a model is that she can style her own makeup/hair/look. I basically spent the entire shoot saying "omigod, amazing...WORK" while drinking a giant beer and refilling Alexis' champagne.

OMG

I cannot beleive the situation I've gotten myself into this time. I am on a flight to NYC- I haven't slept, and the cute gay steward keeps refilling my wine. My right nostril is completely congested (ahem) and despite it all, I am absolutely EXCITED about this upcoming week.
It is unfortunate that I do not have the self-obsessiveness required to properly maintain this blog in any kind of timely manner. Still, I thought- "Im drunk, crazy-looking, and on a plane to NYC- might as well blog my damn self".
Here's the latest- latex and mesh...absolutely 90's to make any "club kid" proud. Hologram stretch latex is my happy place. I love these dresses! I am inspired to make some more- It is my hope that a trip to the garment district will result in the purchase of some flesh-colored see thru vinyl for the next go-round. Fetishy and Fashiony. Sex. I love it!
Keep it fun and startling! please visit my friend's online store: lightvisionstore.com to see some pics of the goods!
love,
cris

LITTLEST CRISTALETTE

I love to make gifts for my friends, so when a buddy of mine had a baby girl last year, I decided to grab a baby pattern, and make a dress for the little angel!
My friend is a certified rock dude, and I wanted to make something that said "this is your offspring". I scrounged around in my bottomless pit of random fabrics and projects-gone-wrong, and found something I thought would work. I wanted to make something washable, comfortable, and without any closures that could bother baby. With that in mind I used a vintage t-shirt that had a bald eagle, various undetermined native american looking designs for the body of the shirt, and some pink tie dye fabric for the sleeves.
I am so happy with the outcome! Mom styled baby out with that feathered headress.
PRECIOUS!
